Recycling, Solid Waste and Yard Debris

Recycling Drop off is available for Oxford Borough residents at the Public Works Building located at 450 West Locust Street, Oxford, PA 19363

For a list of what is acceptable to recycle please click here.

PLEASE DO NOT PUT RECYCLING IN TRASH BAGS. RECYCLING SHOULD BE PUT IN PAPER BAGS, CARDBOARD BOXES OR LOOSE.

The Borough of Oxford is not responsible for trash pick up. Please call a local hauler to set up service.

Yard debris such as branches, brush and leaves are picked up and every Monday by Public Works. Please place these items at the curb for pick up.

Leaves: Leaf pick up takes place the month of November. Please place all leaves curbside. Please NO BRANCHES in the leaves as it will clog the leaf collection machine. After November leaves can be placed in biodegradable bags. Each bag should weigh less than 20 lbs. No household trash in the bags please or it will NOT be picked up.

Branches: Our wood chipper will chip logs/branches up to 12" in diameter. Branches should be at least 20" long if possible to avoid a possible jam in the chipper.
