Borough of Oxford Equal Access Pledge

Oxford Borough Equal Access Pledge

At their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 6th, Borough Council adopted an equal access pledge, put forth by and signed by Mayor of Oxford, Philip Harris. The pledge affirms that:

"The Borough of Oxford is committed to providing access and services to all people regardless of their immigration status, language spoken, race, religion, national origin, gender/gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability. All persons in the Borough are entitled and encouraged to:

  • Access government services including emergency services such as police, fire and EMS; 
    Report crimes, domestic abuse, housing violations, ordinance violations, including discrimination and public nuisances;

  • Access all Borough services, including water; and

  • Attend and participate in Borough meetings.

Anyone who is concerned about accessing Borough government services is encouraged to contact the Mayor, members of Borough Council or the Borough Manager."
