NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxford Borough Council, Chester County, Pennsylvania, at a public meeting scheduled on December 16, 2019, commencing at 7:00 p.m. to be held at the Borough Building, 401 East Market Street, Oxford, Pennsylvania, will consider and possibly enact an ordinance amending Chapter 12, Historic District, §12-300, Delineation of Historic District, of the existing Code of the Borough of Oxford, a caption and summary of which follows. The complete text of the ordinance can be examined at the Chester County Law Library, 201 West Market Street, West Chester, Pennsylvania and the Borough Building at the above address during regular business hours. Copies of the ordinance may be obtained at a charge not greater than the cost thereof at the Borough Building during regular business hours.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF OXFORD, CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 12, HISTORIC DISTRICT, PART 3, DELINEATION AND INTERPRETATION OF DISTRICT, §12-300, DELINEATION OF HISTORIC DISTRICT, OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF OXFORD.
SECTION 1. Amends §12-300, Delineation of Historic District, as follows:
Subsection 1 is revised to provide that the Oxford Borough Historic District is delineated on the map designated as the “Certified Historic District Map of Oxford Borough,” prepared by Richard Grubb & Associates, Inc., dated May 29, 2019, and contained in Appendix 1 and attached to the ordinance.
Subsection 2 is revised to provide that the Certified Historic District Map shall be located in the office of the Codes Department and made available for public inspection.
Subsection 3 remains unchanged.
SECTION 2. Provides for the severability of unconstitutional or invalid provisions of the ordinance.
SECTION 3. Repeals ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with any provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. Provides that the amendment shall be effective as by law provided.
