                 CODES ENFORCEMENT / ZONING DEPARTMENT

 The Borough of Oxford Codes Department provides for the public health, safety and welfare of all that live, work and visit through the administration of local, state and federal codes. These codes regulate the use and maintenance of public and private real estate and structures.

The Codes Department Duties include:

• Investigating complaints;
• Review and issue building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and zoning permits;
• Inspect construction in process;
• Issuing certificate of occupancy;
• Issuing violation notices and citations;
• Yearly inspection of rental units.
